These terms govern the use of the Modern Astrology KP software at kp.astrokama.app, run by Modern Astrology, proprietor Suvendu Paul, Kolkata, India. By registering and using the software you accept these terms.

1. Who may use the software

• Access is only for Students enrolled in the Astrology Course run by Modern Astrology.
• A Registration Number is issued by Modern Astrology. Registration cannot be completed without it.
• You must be 18 years or older to register and to pay.

2. One Student, one device

Each Registration Number may be registered on one computer. The software records a device identifier at registration and will not open with the same Registration Number on another computer. If you change your computer, write to us and we will release the old device.

3. Your account

• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
• Do not share, lend, sell or transfer your Registration Number or account to anyone.
• Tell us at once if you believe someone else has used your account.

4. What you may not do

• Copy, extract, publish or resell the prediction rules, the written readings or any part of the software.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or try to read the server side logic.
• Use automated means to pull data out of the software.
• Use the software for anything unlawful.

5. Ownership

The software, its design, the KP prediction rules written into it and all the written readings it produces belong to Suvendu Paul and Modern Astrology. Using the software gives you a personal right to use it while your access is active. It gives you no ownership and no right to pass it on.

6. Fees and suspension

• Fees and due dates are on the Pricing page.
• If a monthly installment is not received by the 9th, access is suspended from the 10th until it is paid.
• After the 12 installments are complete, access continues. If a yearly membership is offered later and not taken, Modern Astrology may suspend access and will say so beforehand.

7. Ending access

You may stop using the software at any time by not paying the next installment. Modern Astrology may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, in particular if a Registration Number is shared or the rules are copied.

8. Nature of the service

This software is a tool for Astrology study and practice. The readings it produces are Astrology based and are offered for guidance only. They are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and must not be used in place of a qualified professional. Decisions taken on the basis of a reading are the user's own.

9. Availability

We try to keep the software available at all times, but we do not promise that it will be free of interruption. Maintenance, hosting failures or problems at a third party service can make it unavailable for a period.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the liability of Modern Astrology for any claim connected with the software is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Changes

These terms may be changed. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the software after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kolkata, West Bengal have jurisdiction.

13. Place and postal code data

Place names, coordinates, time zones and postal codes (ZIP / PIN / Postcode) used inside the software come from GeoNames, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. GeoNames is not connected with Modern Astrology and does not endorse it. The data is provided as it stands, so a place or postal code may be missing or out of date. When you pick a place from the list, the software shows the place with its district or state, the time zone it used and the GMT offset for that birth date — please check that these match what the client told you.
